I had the pleasure of capturing baby Hudson for the first time after capturing his mom and dad multiple times throughout their relationship and pregnancy. Rachel and Josh first came to me for a couples session…the day they found out they were pregnant was hours prior to our session together.

Our first photo session together was so fun and full of love and life. A few weeks later..Rachel and Josh were texting me for a photo session in a sunflower field in Brantford, Ontario. The sunflower field at Brantwood Farms is always so beautiful and it made for the perfect photo location for baby announcement photos for Rachel and Josh to share their secret with the world.

After finding out their first baby was going to be a BOY!!!! Rachel and Josh reached out for maternity photos. R+J’s maternity session was again, full of love but this time with extra excitement and also – LOADS of ice cream to help out Rachel’s intense ice cream cravings.

Months passed and I anxiously awaited for Rachel’s text message announcing baby boy’s arrival. I was so invested in Rachel and Josh’s love story and could not wait to meet baby boy and capture his first photoshoot.

Finally, Rachel texts me announcing the arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Hudson and was ready to capture this little guy. I packed my things and met Rachel and Josh in their home to capture their newest, littlest love.

Hudson did absolutely amazing for his first photoshoot..I call him a natural already! One of my favourite things about this job is getting to capture your family as it grows. It is the most rewarding thing, capturing you throughout the best and most precious milestones of your life.
