I had the pleasure of capturing Emily and Owen’s anniversary photos in one of my favourite photoshoot locations, Downtown Cambridge, Ontario! Cambridge is full of historic charm and the most beautiful backgrounds for photos. It was the perfect place to celebrate Emily and Owen’s first year of marriage together!

I had the pleasure of capturing The Stirling’s engagement photos in August 2023 at Park Hill Studios in Cambridge, Ontario during their sunflower installation at their Casa photo studio. Then again, I captured their wedding day in London, Ontario at Bellamere Winery where they were joined by their closest friends and family members to celebrate their wedding day.

It was only fitting to capture their one year anniversary starting with their favourite date night spot, Coffee Culture in Cambridge. Owen would meet Emily there during their many coffee study dates. Owen grabbed a hot chocolate, perfect for keeping him warm during this rainy afternoon. Emily went with an iced coffee, her go-to but quickly pawned it off on Owen when her hands got too cold.

After a much needed coffee break, these two cuddled together right next to the fireplace before braving the rain. With the cutest clear umbrella in hand, these two redid their first dance together in the Galtway, a gorgeous little alley way right in Downtown Galt full of local artists paintings. The dreamiest of twinkle lights turned on just in time and set the scene for the rest of the session.

We finished up right where we started, by the coffee culture, running across the crosswalks to warm up from the rain. This made for the most adorable, candid shots!

Looking back at this session, I am all giddy thinking about how much I love photographing spring sessions in Cambridge. The scenery and opportunities for cute photos in cute coffee shops while warming up by the fire together.

I am so grateful to capture love stories just like this, preserving family legacies and framing photos of such special moments, like your first wedding anniversary.
