Right in the middle of beautiful Cambridge, Ontario, I had the privilege of capturing Rachel and Carter’s Tapestry Hall wedding. It was a beautiful October day, setting the scene for the warmth and elegance of the Downtown core.

The day started by capturing the sweetest of emotions. The excitement on Carter’s face while getting ready to be married. The giddiness and all the love that filled the room. When Rachel and Carter told me they wanted to have a first look, I knew the perfect spot! It is a gorgeous park nearby, that has the prettiest of blooms even in October. It is also private and secluded, meaning your first look gets to be all you dreamed of it. After a morning of fun music, shots and all the angst of getting ready, I took Rachel and Carter to my secret spot for their first look!

Following the first look we headed to the ceremony where I captured the prettiest of detail photos in the Tap Room at Tapestry Hall while the couple hid together waiting for the ceremony to begin.

The ceremony began, paired with the most peaceful music performed by a live violinist, setting the scene for the most romantic wedding ceremony I have seen. The couple opted for a unique first kiss photo and boy did they get it! Their first kiss was taken from above so not only did they get a photo as unique as their love story, but they also got to see all their friends and family celebrating and cheering them on as they said the big “I do”.

The ceremony concluded and when I tell you the Tapestry Hall staff went above and beyond accommodating Rachel and Carter, I mean it! The staff truly made them feel so seen and special when they brought cocktail hour to them. We were capturing the last of their wedding day photos, bridal party, family photos and a few more photos of the two of them, when the Tapestry Hall waitstaff ran across the road with a huge tray of snacks just for the two of them!

Rachel and Carter got the party started after dinner with a grand entrance from them and their bridal party! I’m talking the ultimate dance battles and bubble wands were brought. These two did not play around with bringing the energy to their wedding day.

It was such an honour to capture Carter and Rachel’s wedding day at Tapestry Hall. This venue truly goes above and beyond and it is such a priviledge to get to capture the greatest of love stories at venues like this one!
