Casa at Park Hill Studios

Casa at Park Hill Studios is a natural light studio located in Cambridge, Ontario.

Casa is a cozy studio space which features a minimally designed bed and Tulum inspired seating areas. This studio has in-house speakers, allowing you to connect your phone playing your favourite tunes; perfect for setting the mood for your photoshoot. There is also a changing space, allowing clients to have the option for outfit changes in comfort.

The staff at Casa are nothing but amazing! Not only are they accommodating and kind, but they are photographers themselves and so they truly understand design and flow of spaces to perfect the studio space. With their amazing curated seasonal setups, it allows for photographers to not only have a reliable studio year round but also offers the option for fun and trendy seasonal setups for minis options throughout the year.

My most recent time at Casa was during their floral set up. The studio space was set up perfectly for Valentine’s Day. The bed full of rose petals, dimly lit candles for the perfect touch of elegance and gorgeous roses featured hanging from the ceiling. This set up was PERFECT for Valentine’s Day. I ran boudoir sessions there during this season set up and not only did my photos turned out amazing but my clients fell in love with the studio space.

Casa is the perfect space for intimate couples sessions, boudoir shoots and cozy family sessions.

Melrose at Park Hill Studios

Melrose at Park Hill Studios is a natural light studio located in Cambridge, Ontario. Melrose is located in the same building as Casa, allowing for seamless transitions from one studio space to the next for those day you are booked back to back in different studios.

Melrose is an open concept studio space which has many different set ups, allowing for diversity in your photo galleries.

Like Casa, Melrose is a natural lit studio space. I know many photographers can be hesitant when it comes to a natural lit studio space, but I have nothing but good things to say about Melrose. It is the PERFECT studio for photographers who are yet to shoot in a natural lit studio. Filled with massive windows around the entirety of the studio allows for the perfect amount of light filling the studio.

When you walk into Melrose you are greeting with a getting ready room featuring a cozy seating area with many places to store all your equipment, outfits and more. In this room, there is a polaroid feature wall, highlighting local photographers and vendors who have visited the studio space.

Down the hall, you can find a bookshelf and seating area, a fireplace set, a cozy built in nook, yet again, another comfy and welcoming seating area and custom built in’s along the windows. Allowing for height and depth in your photos.

Similar to Casa, Melrose has seasonal setups throughout the year, allowing for that perfect change and filling you with new, exciting and creative ideas. Allowing photographers to get creative and again, allows for mini setups for special holidays like Christmas and beyond.

Melrose is perfect for those extended family sessions, especially when littles are involved. There is so much open space for your littles to let some of their energy out throughout the session.

Sunroom Studios

Sunroom Studios is located in St. George, Ontario just off of Highway 24 heading into Brantford and Cambridge.

Sunroom Studios is a large studio space with so much to offer. The studio features a getting ready station, a change room, office set ups, two different living room sets, a conversation area, a bar set and so many different paper backdrops to choose from.

Did I mention the studio is PET FRIENDLY!!! As a photographer and dog mama, I know how important it is to have your furry friends included in your family photos.

Like the above mentioned studios, Sunroom Studios is a natural lit studio with loads of windows allowing for the perfect amount of light shining in. The studio also features loads of outlets for additional lighting if needed and if you don’t have your own, don’t sweat it. The studio offers lighting rentals as well!

Sunroom Studios is the perfect studio for cozy family sessions, holiday photos and branding sessions.

Studio One Eleven

Studio One Eleven is located within The Rope Factory in Brantford. Out of all of the studios I have been to so far, this studio was the most accessible and easiest for clients to find, which is a huge plus in my books.

Studio One Eleven is furnished like no other studio I have been to. With it’s many vintage and intimate set up’s. It is the perfect place to express yourself creatively. My favourite part of the studio was the MANY backdrops to choose from. Not only was the studio full of different sets, but the backdrops are a perfect addition for headshots or simple photo sessions.

The owner of Studio One Eleven is a photographer herself and is one of the kindest souls. I did not have the chance to meet her in person, but over the phone you could feel her passion for the studio and for photography.

Studio One Eleven is the perfect place for creative photoshoots and for branding / product photography.
